can then select from our cooked breakfast menu which
caters for vegetarian tastes too or opt for our
continental option which includes croissants and
pastries.
Goathland sits in the heart of the North Yorkshire
Moors in the beautiful Esk valley filled with woodland,
rivers and waterfalls and offers spectacular walking
and mountain biking routes to suit novices and experts
alike. The famous and spectacular North York Moors
Railway is located in the village and connects to
Grosmont, Whitby & Pickering from Goathland
station.
The TV series ‘Heartbeat’ was filmed in and around
the village for many years and visitors can call
in at ‘Scripps Garage’ and the ‘Aidensfield Arms’.
